Butterfly Kaleidoscope Wall Art

Why is a group of butterflies called a kaleidoscope? This group name comes from the kaleidoscope, an optical instrument that creates a beautiful colourful display using mirrors. Similarly, the wings of butterflies feature thousands of reflective colourful scales, so this name makes great sense!  With their intricately patterned wings and brilliant colours butterflies are a welcome visitor in our gardens.  To see a butterfly is like receiving a special gift from Mother Nature, and to many they have a special meaning or symbolism.
